Canada is continuing its descent into lawlessness and tyranny that became so apparent during the draconian response to Covid, warned leading constitutional attorney Shawn Buckley in this episode of Conversations That Matter with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman.
Buckley, who serves as president of the Natural Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA), was on the cutting edge of documenting the horrors perpetrated under the guise of “Covid response.” It was worse than even in the most draconian American states, he said.
As a founding member and organizer of the National Citizens Inquiry, Buckley gathered testimony from across Canada about what happened during Covid. But so far, virtually nobody has been held accountable for trampling on people’s rights or other abuses. One big takeaway for him was that people must always listen to each other.
Unfortunately, the disturbing trends evident during Covid are continuing, with a break down in the rule of law and even assaults on basic freedoms such as free speech. Indeed, right now, Canadian lawmakers are plotting to criminalize public profession of biblical views on marriage and sexuality.
