On Monday, November 25, at 7:00 pm, Senator Mark Pody (R – Lebanon) will be speaking about SB1236 in Memphis. The event will be held at 735 Ridge Lake Blvd (First Evangelical Church), Memphis, TN 38120 (click here for directions).
This meeting isn’t designed to be any type of hoorah for any political party of person. Rather, it is designed to narrowly focus on a radical change of status quo on issue that we believe deeply grieves God and His people: abortion.
In other words, we want to talk about a very important abortion bill. You may have heard about Tennessee’s Heartbeat Bill, but there could be a lot you don’t know.
The reason that we have invited Senator Pody to speak is that he has carried SB1236 (formerly known as the Heartbeat Bill) in the Senate. He fought to keep it dying in committee. He fought to make a very difficult summer study successful. And he is fighting to get this bill passed by the Senate in January.
Come and hear the story about how Tennessee’s Heartbeat bill came to be much more than a Heartbeat Bill. You’ll find out what happened this year. You’ll find out what needs to happen. You’ll find out what you can do to help. Then we will will have Q&A session with Senator Pody.
We will close by sharing a prayer guide, concluding in prayer.
Church groups are welcome!

What time?
7:00 pm. Updated.
Please stop killing these unborn babies. If God seen fit for someone to conceive it’s his will it should be born. We are going to be held accountable. I would never choose an abortion. I don’t want my tax money to pay them. When our tax money is used to abort babies it makes us an accessory to murder.
We are working to that end.
